Mechanical Engineering Department was started in the year 1963 which is having excellent infrastructure with modern well equipped laboratories and Wi-Fi connectivity. There are 12 highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties in the department. Along with the curricular-activities, the department carries out industrial visit to Top companies.
Mechanical engineering is one of the most sought after branches which created the greatest demand for the professional requirements in India and abroad. Almost all sectors of industries require the mechanical engineers and technological education needs to be improved with latest updated knowledge with practical experience and visualization.
Our students are placed in many government, public sectors and private sector companies.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
PSO 1. Plan and supervise maintenance activities of mechanical engineering instrument and machines.
PSO 2. Use basic CAD/CAM software for mechanical engineering applications in drafting and manufacturing.
PSO 3. Manage mechanical engineering processes by selecting and scheduling relevant equipment, quality control techniques, operational parameters and by guiding subordinate workforce.
